An axis running three shifts covers more distance in a year than a delivery van.

Task

A stacking gantry moves prismatic cells from a conveyor into a frame. The line runs three shifts, and a single axis standing still stops all of it.

Solution

Two LX-120 axes carry the gantry over 4,400 mm and one LK-100 handles the vertical motion. Sizing starts from the distance covered over five years rather than from the rated load.

Sized in kilometres, not in hours

Cycle time, stroke and shift pattern give the distance per year. Only then does it follow which guide size reaches the required service life.

Lubrication without stopping the line

The guide blocks are connected to a central lubrication line with its port outside the guarding. Relubrication happens while the line runs.

Two axes, one spare part

Both gantry axes are identical. One set of guide blocks on the shelf covers the whole line.
